About Me

Birthday
August 30

High School
Wm. J. Bogan High School, Chicago, Illinois

College
Like Charlie Daniels says, "A rich man goes to college, and a poor man goes to work."

Radio Background
My first real, paid radio job was in Jacksonville Florida on WCRJ-The home of the Rooster! After doing a little part-time radio work for a few years, I became the producer of Country Gold Saturday Night, heard nationwide out of Chicago. Then I decided to try for a full-time air-show of my own. After two years at that Columbus station, I am happy to be here at US92!

Interests
I enjoy meeting people, especially US92 listeners. I can always tell a loyal listener. They talk like they know me, not like they're meeting a stranger. Every time I meet a listener and they talk to me like they're talking to an old friend, I'm reminded why I love this job so much. I enjoy going out to bars - but not every night. Those days are OVER!

If I weren't at US92, I would
be doing everything I can to become a DJ. I love this job!

Favorite foods
Chocolate, pizza, burgers, and most anything handed to me out of a drive-thru window!

Favorite color
I honestly don't have one.

Favorite TV Show
I am a huge fan of Charmed! I have all eight seasons on DVD. But my all-time favorite is The Simpsons. I'm living proof that Bart grows up to be Homer.

Favorite Song
That's a tough one. That's why I carry around a big case of CDs...I can't decide.

Favorite Artist
Hank Sr. Hank Jr., Willie, or maybe Toby, or maybe Waylon. Another tough question!

Favorite County Fair Memory
I did a live broadcast from a county fair several years ago, and it was raining so hard, that I did the entire broadcast from the back of my car, lying about the weather the whole time. There was a point where I was the only person on the fairgrounds! I also got to tie a goat once! Not bad for a kid from Chicago!

Most Embarrasing Moment
Way too many to list. Maybe we could discuss this one over a cold beverage.

Anything else
Over the past few years, I have really grown to love living in Nebraska. After growing up in Chicago, I believe I have found a lifestyle I can get used to. The people I've met over the past couple years are the finest anywhere, and I absolutely love playing music for you.
