Saturday Night Country Club

Back in the mid 90's, I became the producer of "Country Gold Saturday Night," an all-request show heard across the nation and around the world.  The show had a full staff, a budget, and was hosted by 30 year radio veteran Big John Howell, who is also my mentor.  So when I came to Nebraska back in 2001, and learned that I would be doing a Saturday night request show, I already had very high standards for the sound of the show.  I knew that it should be all about the listeners and the music.  And although I don't have a staff, or a big budget, I do have the best listeners in the world.  Thanks to the listeners, I believe the show sounds as good as it ever could.  It's all about good times and good country music, two things Northeast Nebraskans know a lot about!  I couldn't do it without you!

So no matter where you're going, no matter what you're doing this Saturday night, be sure to bring a phone and a radio and be a part of the biggest party to ever hit the airwaves - the Saturday Night Country Club!
