Historical ROTC Scholarships

Three members of the Norfolk Senior High graduating class have received the Marine Corps NROTC scholarship.  This is the first time in history that three seniors from the same school received the scholarship.  To commemorate this historical event, all three were on the air with Dave and Angie this morning.  The gentlemen will receive up to $180,000 in scholarship dollars for college.  Each of them will be attending University of Nebraska at Lincoln in the Fall.

Happy 10th Birthday

10 years ago today (May 10, 2000) US 92 signed on the air.  Lots of memories and stories this morning recalling the history of the station.

On that day, Kirstyn & Karissa Evans of Tilden were also born...so they always celebrate the day with the radio station.  Today, they stopped by with a cake for our co-10th birthday parties.
