Dave was back after being home with a sick kid yesterday! We had a blast talking to people who went to the Hannah Montana concert last night in Omaha. The highest amount paid for tickets was $900 for a pair! Several listeners were lucky enough to get them at face value. I couldn't tell who was more excited about the show...the parents or the kids! Billy Ray Cyrus definately put together a good "retirement plan" with his off spring! Thanks for all of the calls and opinions.
Also, we read an email from a listener who wanted to know if she was asking too much of her boyfriend to dress up as a couple in M&M costumes. She said he refused to wear the red tights and claimed she was enforcing "cruel and unusual punishment" and "mental blackmale" making him do it! She's considering breaking up with him over this. What do you think?
Make sure to check out Dave and Angie's fake "Online" profiles on our website. If you can find the one false fact they have in common, email us what it is along with your name, address and phone number and you could win Brad Paisley concert tickets for the November 15th show in Omaha with Rodney Atkins and Taylor Swift as special guests!
Early Morning Trivia
Q: 37% of American drivers have done this?
A: Pick up a hitchhiker.

Dave was back today and found out Mike had played some slow songs while filling in during "Fast Song Friday" (Angie ratted him out!). So, Dave declared this rainy Monday a "Fast Song Monday". We also gave away a pair of Dierks Bentley/Jack Ingram concert tickets for this Friday's Show in Sioux City. Keep listening, we've got more to give away this week. Also, Dave was very inspired this past weekend while at a conference in Salt Lake City, UT. He had the chance to hear Dick Hoyt speak about his amazing life with his disabled son and how they have fought through the many struggles in life to now compete in marathons, triathalons and other races to inspire others with disabilities to live life with a "Can" attitude instead of "Can't". Please take time to check out their story at www.teamhoyt.com.
Early Morning Trivia
Q: According to Prevention Magazine, the average person does this 73 times per day?
A: Make a decision.

Another fun morning on the show. Dave picked up the new game based on the TV show "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?" Jason picked out an amazing musical prize package from Angie's pile of throw away CD's and tapes. Dan won the prize after some "spoon-feeding" of answers from the gang. Watch out, you may be the next to test your knowledge against elementary school questions!
There were some great items on Dave's Country Store this morning. Click on the link to the right for more info. Tomorrow morning: Jason SHEERS a LIVE sheep for your entertainment. Don't miss this one!
Early Morning Trivia
Q: According to a survey of Thieves and robbers, this is the best place to hide your valuables if you don't want them stolen...
A: Inside a toy or toy box.

Happy Columbus Day. Where would we be without good ole' Christopher Columbus. Heck, we may not even have a Columbus, Nebraska if it weren't for him. I digress...
Had fun this morning playing "Finish Lines"...history edition. After two attempts to get our contestants to get EVEN ONE question right, we finally got a winner. C'mon, people...it's time to bone up on our history again! We should all be able to finish quotes like, "Float like a butterfly...sting like a bee!"
We're gearing up for Jason's big sheep shearing adventure on Wednesday. We're all looking forward to see who gets the best of who in that battle! We also read a really cool story about your life's "Bank Account'. In other words, life is a lot like a bank account. You spend your entire life depositing great memories. There's more to it so read it for yourself by clicking on the "Things You've Heard" link.
Tomorrow, we'll play the Secret Sound Game at 7:20 and give you a chance to wheel and deal with Dave's Country Store at 8!
Early Morning Trivia
Q: This is the number one researched "How To" item on the internet?
A: How to tie a tie!

Man, what a busy morning! We talked about Sara Evans looking better than ever after her divorce. Why is it that many people go through such a dramatic "change" in appearance after a divorce? Is it that they want their "ex" jealous? Do they just want to totally start over? Great calls, thanks!
Dale Junior will no longer be the number 8 Bud car after this season and instead will be driving the 88 car with Mountain Dew/Amp. We got to thinking about all of the Dale Jr. fans that have #8 tattooed on their bodies...will they go to the new number? So, we offered to hook someone up with a new Mountain Dew green 8 right beside the red one. That will combine the old with the new and get them ready for next season! We couldn't believe the number of calls we took from volunteers! We're going to be setting this up over the next several days.
Next week, Jason and Dave will be going to Tilden to sheer a sheep Wednesday morning (something Jason has wanted to do...we don't know why). That and more coming up...we hope you'll join us!
Early Morning Trivia
Q: A "perfect" one of these has 7 warts per square inch???

Presidential Election 2008
Angie & Dave found a website that helps you identify yourself with the presidential candidates. There are only 11 questions and it will then calculate the candidate who's position on the issues is most like your own.

Make sure you read the questions carefully, Dave had trouble deciding actually what they were asking.
