February 2007 Morning Show Archives
February 15
Happy post-Valentine's Day. Hopefully, you enjoyed a great day with your sweetie. If not, then be thankful you saved some money!
We looked for someone who wanted to break the news that they were pregnant over the air this morning. Unfortunately, no one called in. We know you're out there! When you get the courage up, give us a call some morning and we will call your family or spouse to break the news!
Also, click on this link http://www.hapkido.com/deepthoughts/coffee.htm to get a copy of the story Dave read this morning about a carrot, an egg and a cup of coffee.
Don't forget to check out the list of great items on Dave's Country Store this morning as well! Oh, and I just about forgot, Angie almost set the studio on fire this morning! She put the pan of "Smores Nachos" she made yesterday in the oven to "melt the chocolate" so she could clean the pan. BUT, she left it in a little too long and it literally caught on fire. Luckily, Dave grabbed a hot pad and ran it outside and put it in the snow before the whole room went up in flames...only at US92!

Hey, folks! Been a little busy around here lately...sorry we haven't updated in a few days. This morning, we had fun talking about "Office/Work Romances". Does anybody out there have a success story after dating someone they work with? We actually had several people who called after as many as 28 years of marriage! Some people still work together! How do they do it? We can't figure that one out. We did have one gentleman call who married a lady from work then she found another co-worker a few years later and traded him off! Apparently, she doesn't do her dating far from home!
We also asked the question, "what do you want that your spouse won't let you have?" Lots of calls here from a new puppy to a Harley! Of course, the best was the guy who was allowed to buy either a new flat screen TV or some cows...unfortunately, he had to make a choice. We suggested the TV because at least they come with a warranty!
Listen tomorrow morning as we announce which "Love Story" will win the awesome prize package from the Brewed Bean and Albion Floral and Gift! Also, don't forget about our St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Radiothon coming up next Thursday and Friday! Get ready to help keep HOPE alive for kids around the world!
