Accident at Ta-Ha-Zouka Park Leads to DUI Arrest
NORFOLK - Just after 2:00pm Friday afternoon, the Norfolk Police were dispatched to Ta-Ha-Zouka Park on the report of a one vehicle accident.
Captain Michal Bauer told us that as officers arrived they found the vehicle wedged on one of the posts in the park and four other posts were broken off.
During the police investigation, the responding officer said that he could smell alcohol on the breath of the driver, 39-year-old Brandy L. Johnson of Norfolk.
Following a field sobriety test, Johnson was arrested for a 2nd offense DUI. Bauer said that Johnson's blood alcohol content was believed to be over .150. She is being held at the Madison County Jail.
